The Roborock RockMow Z120 LiDAR is an advanced AWD robotic lawn mower designed for large, complex and steep lawns of up to 2,000 m². It combines nRTK support with 360° 3D LiDAR, a binocular camera, VSLAM and intelligent multi-sensor fusion.
It mows accurately and systematically without a perimeter wire or a separate physical RTK antenna in the garden.
nRTK added through a software update
The RockMow Z120 LiDAR supports nRTK through a software update. This allows the mower to use network-based correction data for highly accurate positioning without requiring a local RTK base station in the garden.
The 360° 3D LiDAR, binocular camera and VSLAM continue to provide environmental perception, navigation and intelligent obstacle avoidance.
nRTK operation depends on the installed software version, network coverage and service availability.
360° 3D LiDAR and intelligent camera
The LiDAR sensor scans the surrounding area in 360° and processes up to 200,000 measurement points per second. Its detection range reaches up to 70 metres.
Combined with the binocular camera and additional sensors, it provides the mower with a detailed understanding of its surroundings. This is particularly useful in complex gardens, narrow passages and lawns containing trees, buildings or hedges.
The integrated GNSS module and 4G connectivity also allow the mower’s location to be monitored.
No perimeter wire
There is no need to bury a boundary wire around the lawn. The working area is mapped digitally during installation.
The Roborock app can be used to configure:

The Z120 supports up to 15 individual zones.
All-wheel drive for challenging terrain
The all-wheel-drive system is combined with Roborock’s patented Active Steering System. Active front-wheel steering enables accurate and smooth turning while helping to protect the lawn.
The RockMow Z120 LiDAR can handle slopes of up to 80%, equivalent to approximately 38.7°. Without the optional PreciEdge module installed, it can also cross obstacles and height differences of up to 8 cm.
The Dynamic Suspension System and floating cutting deck adapt to uneven terrain to provide a consistent cutting result.
Powerful six-blade cutting system
The Z120 is equipped with six durable Endurance blades and a robust double-layer cutting system. This allows it to handle thicker and denser grass efficiently.
Cutting width is 24 cm. Cutting height is electrically adjustable between 20 and 70 mm through the Roborock app.
With a cutting efficiency of up to 160 m² per hour, a mowing time of approximately 100 minutes and a charging time of around 50 minutes, the Z120 is suitable for maintaining larger lawns efficiently.
The finely cut grass remains on the lawn as natural fertiliser and does not need to be collected.
Intelligent obstacle avoidance
The binocular camera, LiDAR sensor and multi-sensor fusion allow the mower to detect different types of objects. It can adjust its route or safely navigate around obstacles.
The mower follows planned parallel routes to produce a uniform cut while reducing unnecessary repeated passes.
The camera’s auxiliary light supports navigation in low-light conditions. A wildlife-friendly mode can also be activated through the app.
Automatic charging
When the battery level is low, the Z120 automatically returns to its charging station. After charging, it resumes mowing from where it stopped.
The lithium-ion battery has a nominal voltage of 21.6 V and a capacity of 6 Ah.
Roborock app control
The Roborock app for Android and iOS can be used to configure and monitor:

Connectivity is provided through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and integrated 4G. The mower supports both 2.4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Roborock recommends a 2.4GHz network for initial setup.
Mobile data for the 4G connection is included for the first three years.
Anti-theft protection
The RockMow Z120 LiDAR features an integrated alarm, PIN-code protection and a built-in 4G anti-theft module.
A separate compartment is provided for installing a compatible tracking device. The tracker is sold separately.
Rain sensor and water resistance
The integrated rain sensor automatically sends the mower back to its charging station when rain is detected.
The standard rain delay is 180 minutes and can be adjusted through the app.
The mower and charging station have an IPX6 rating. The separate battery charger is IP67 rated. Do not use a pressure washer for cleaning.
Optional PreciEdge module
The separately available Roborock PreciEdge module for the Z Series uses two additional blades to mow close to walls, fences and other boundaries.
It can cut as close as approximately 3 cm from the boundary. After installation, maximum obstacle clearance is limited to approximately 5 cm.
